I recently picked up a series 1990 $50 from the bank and the ink bled through on United States of America. You can see this on the front, backward of course, and I've not seen this before. I'm guessing it is no big deal, but thought I'd put it out there for comment. Sorry, my computer blew up and I can post a pic right now. Thanks. Bob
I see nominal bleed through semi-frequently on new notes as well as what might be offset from the next sheet of notes below to the back of the sheet on top of it. Not sure of the severity of your example without a photo or a scan but I'd say there's nothing special about a note with bleed through if the printing itself isn't flawed or if the ink isn't smeared like some error notes display.

The words "The United States of America" on the back of the old-style $50 have some of the deepest engraving occurring anywhere on that generation of currency designs. With so much ink ending up on the paper at that location, it's not too uncommon to get some ink transferred to the front of one note from the back of the previous note....
