Help with identification of Indian purchase

bought today with a few other cheap coins for a few dollars. i don't know what to look at specifically on this coin to begin researching it. what does the pitchfork character represent?

India-Kutch is my first thought.

numbers to look for seem to be some part of 37 and perhaps 61

 

which ones are numbers? do i have the coin photographed correctly?

 

37 is noted. I’m not sure what looks like 61 is actually 61. That’s why I said perhaps 61. It looks like a design element most likely.
