Looking for feedback on my 1922 peace dollar. It's gold on the front and back and also appears to be doubled on the reverse. Can't find anything like it online.
    What do you guys think?

This gold ‘enhancement ‘ is considered damage
    As for doubling, no

Bummer, how would that have happened? Like someone tried to paint it? I also have a 45 mercury dime that is gold, came from the same collection

No, havent posted it anywhere but yeah that looks like someone took a highlighter to it. The coloring on mine is more inconsistent. It bleeds around the "peace" on the reverse and the sides are also gold

Looks nice but to a collector, it’s damaged. Only worth spot pricing.

it's an "enhanced" coin.. as far as most collectors are concerned "enhanced" equals worthless/melt value... Sorry but these "collector special" coins are anything but... Still a very pretty coin, but common date and gold plate work against it.

    Go to merrickmint.com
Peruse their offerings of various gold etc metal plated coins
They are only one of many companies doing this and selling them as novelties.
