I sold a 2003 1 ounce gold panda sealed in plastic for $1,225 recently. The same buyer is interested in my ad about a 1986 panda and is offering $1,157.80. Are the those prices fair? I haven't contacted him back yet, but the 1986 coin has patina spots on both sides and although it's covered in plastic it's not sealed. Does this impact the value of the coin in any way, should i attempt to clean it or sell as is? thanks.
