http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dl...850831&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT#ht_500wt_1182 I'm wondering if those little rips in the top middle of the note made this worth what it is. The reverse looks fine and so does the obverse.. A little wear in some spots but for $1075? Something must have heavily discounted this note and I'm feeling it was those little tears. I'm seeing what some of you guys think..
For me, unfortunately, those 'little tears' were the first thing that caught my eye on the note. And it wasn't because Jarett mentioned them prior to me looking. I clicked the link before I fully read Jarett's posting. Still a nice note though; the Education Series is my favorite. (I have a $1 specimen in my collection - paid $475 for mine.)
That note still looks like double the money. Of course thats by internet standards. In person that note might make you money or make you puke. You dont know until its in hand. I wont lay a grand down until its in my hand and I can see it smell it and grade it. Looks good for the money but the pros backed off so I think its worth half.
