LOL I ended up $4.25 in the black by the end of the night. It was a great time and we all had a lot of fun!!
All the Lincoln's are common in circ. here but no nickles are dimes. All the Lincoln's are common in circ. here but no nickles are dimes.
A few week back I as filling some water jugs an out of the change slot came a 2009 Rosie. That was the first dime I got in circulation. Received quite a few Lincoln cents. Also noticed that alot of 2008 coins are now out there. Area Palm Beach Florida
I've seen all the 2009-P cents in circulation in central NY. I've yet to find a nickel, dime, or quarter in circulation from 2009 or any Denver mint coins. I've yet to find any 2010 coins of any denomination or mint.
Were the Denver nickels and dimes actual business strikes or satin finish? I can't find even Denvers on ebay.
I havent seen but a couple of cents here in SC either. It is still like hitting the lotto when you look down and see something like that when you are not used to seeing it. I am sure soon they will become a lot more common
There have been a very few Denver 2009 nickels and dimes in NGC slabs show up on ebay that claim to be business strikes but I strongly suspect they are actually Satin Finish mint set coins. They are very well struck, with little or no marks, and the finish doesn't look like the regular business strikes. Plus with the huge build up demand for the D nickels and dimes if someone had some to send to NGC there would also be a lot of raw pieces being listed as well.
Found 2010 Cent Got my first 2010 Lincoln cent in circulation. It's a Philly and I got it in Youngstown, Ohio. Even though I already have a few rolls, it was exciting to see one in circulation! I thought I post here because none of my friends would understand. :rolling:
Since the metal value in a nickel has exploded to over $0.06, could the mint be making a deliberate decision to stop making them? It doesn't explain the dime though.
Here in north central Illinois, lots of 2009 cents, except the cabins, haven't seen one yet. I do about a box of nickels every 2 or 3 weeks, still zero 2009 nickels. Oh, and no 2010 cents either.
Bought my first 2010-D cent today. Probly won't ever see those out here in circulation. LP2's and 3's are a plenty. No LP1's in a couple months or more. No LP4's yet (will trade/buy bank rolls or individual coins if anybody interested). No 2009 nickels or dimes. A few of all of the 2009 quarters except for the marinas. Of course no 2010's yet. Except for the Fillmore dollar coin. Got it from the bank. Area of searching: Cleveland, GA
Just found my first business strike 2009P Dime in circulation this week. A real beauty too! Added that one to my album...
