I have recently discovered a double-die error on one of the 2004 Texas state quarters I have. Was wondering if anyone else has seen this error and if anyone has seen any sold and at what price? The pictures I have of this are too large to post on this thread. If interested, you can e-mail me @ pjbjab@yahoo.com. Thanks, G&L
First, welcome to CT. Also if you use photo shop or another imaging program you can scale the pictures down. Regards, Stan
2004 Texas quarter double-die I made the original pics on my scanner so if you'd like to see them, let me know by emailing me at pjbjab@yahoo.com I still haven't figured out how to post a pic to this site, it won't let me copy and paste and won't let me post an image. Thanks, G&L

Texas quarter double-die pics The first picture on this link is the zoomed-in picture of the double-die rope. Please check it out and comment on it. Thanks, G&L http://s759.photobucket.com/albums/xx240/glocked--loaded/Texas quarter/
Texas quarter MD, not DD?? One question though--if it were machine doubling, wouldn't the entire coin be doubled, instead of just the rope on the right side of the reverse? Thanks for your replies, G&L
Makes sense that it would be like that, but nope. You can have MD on one device and not on the one next to it.
