before i bought my 2nd Birr today, i did'nt know they would be so much different from each other

The lion aged a bit. Looks fuller.
And the legs changed position.

 

maybe its trying to say that the king is older and stronger

 

Different engravers, therefore different image.

 

Top coin looks smaller. They have different denominations for this design. I always wanted 1 of these. The bottom coin. Down the road it is on my want list of coin buys. They get pricey in higher grades.

 

im fairly certain they're both the same size

 

Those are cool. Down the road I want 1 like the coin on the right side, but in XF grade. I like it for Lion design.

 

the seller had 5 of these and the younger lion was the best. ive seen much nicer in auctions but i dont have 11k to spend at the moment

 

Another type I've always wanted but have never found. Some day perhaps...
