I can use the "Most active" tab but not say in the Morgan's list the tab "Grades 25-60" so as to see a AU50 prices. You used to be able to do that right? Or am :goofer:
The most active grades are the only ones free... been that way for several months now Even Collector's club members can't get the expanded price guide free anymore, must join PCGS Coin Facts to get them all Of course there are ways to get the info if you're willing to do the work. You can log into Heritage and search for a coin in the grade your looking for and the auction will have the price info. You could also join the PCGS Set Registry (free), start a set that contains the coin you want info on, then go into the set edit mode and do a "what if" scenario. You can then select the coin and see what the prices are for every grade availalbe and also get the population report information on that coin for free. Just takes a little more work though.
Great idea's thanks Illini. Seems PCGS is turning more and more White Collar and NGC being more Blue Collar I like PCGS it's just I can't afford to keep up with the Jones it seems dd:
You're right... I didn't drill into all the tabs... it's 9.95 per month. Not sure if it's changed, it's been quite some time since I've dug into their online pricing. I don't have much use for [them or] their prices given the type of coins that I am most interested in. If I want online sources for pricing, I use Heritage and others - and those don't cost anything.
NGC made similar changes about the same time that PCGS did. If memory serves it was about a year ago.
Even when it was free the PCGS price charts were always about 20% too high, so it was just as useless then as not having access to it now. No big loss there. Guy~
