Duke... Thank you for the 2 New York notes you sent me...I needed those and both were high grade notes. It was my pleasure to make the trade.. Here are larger images of your note for you.. Thank you.. RickieB
Bah!@!@! Thank you for posting that Rickey. I just noticed you did it as I have been working on trying to get the picture to post for over 30 min. It just should be easier then this. Over a year here, at least 5 posts explaining how to post and I still can't get it done fast.
DUKE: Congrats on the pick up Duke! I can't read the SN due to the small file but the note looks sharp from what I can see. RickieB: Thanks for the comments on my new notes. Glad to see you back on the threads too. You back to work and moving around yet?
Duke.. Set up a photobucket account at http://photobucket.com/ once it is set up then Create an Album..upload images to that album and then simply click on the "IMG TAG" and paste it into the post.. Takes all of 10 sec's... RickieB
I had the photobucket and the album but it still wasn't working. Just did what you said and at least this is viewable But still not right lol
So TheNoost, where are you at in your District set? Did you just start it or do you already have some notes? Rickie and Urban have a large head start and Krispy, Pennywise, Grim and I started about the same time...(not long ago at all).
nice note duke. seems like you and rickieB have been busy trading off :thumb: i have a few of those newer style low serials.
It seems KC is one of the harder ones to find as I seem to have everyones district but mine to start with
Well, I've been into the bank a few times in the last two weeks and tried getting some random notes to search from out of the teller's drawer. I have found a great lady who is kind enough to give me 'clean' notes when she has them, but man! some of the notes they have in their drawers, esp. $5s and $10s are mangled and marked up like all hell! Being located in the northeast means I see plenty of Boston and New York notes as well as Atlanta and Richmond in lesser amounts. SF too shows up quite often but KC and STL, Chicago seem not to make it here that often. It's sort of the same issue one has with getting Denver issued coins in circulation on the East Coast and I assume Philly on the West Coast. I'm not sure if I ask for entire straps what I'll get since the quality of the notes they've picked for me already looks to be strapped poorly and they seem reluctant or short stocked around here these days to delve into a new strap, which would probably be from New York anyway! :goof: The search continues...
Well, guess I better get in on this before they all get taken. Put me down for Boston, $1-20, 1928 to present, with stars.

Give me a break, can I pick a district or what..... http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=320509521776&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT
Whoa! Started at .99¢ Pretty steep now at $62 + s/h... Is the term 'Race Track Margins' common currency lingo?
Wow!! Welcome Wiggam! Only 4 spots open? NICE... C Philadelphia E Richmond I Minneapolis L San Francisco If you reorganise the district numbers we still have open L,I,C,E...yuck all we have left is LICE!!
Yea pennywise tell me about it. Some of these smaller ones have much less population so the prices can go up... :thumb: But in the long run that should mean more price appreciation. Hopefully. encil:
So wiggam are you starting from scratch too with your set? And as we fill up what do you guys think about having multiple people of each district. I hadn't thought about it but with just 4 districts open it seems there might be people wanting to join but their District is taken that they want... I think I'd be open to it.
