Surprise Surprise-A “W” Quarter

I looked in the cash drawer as I’m down the antique shop. And what did I find? A “W” River Of No Return 2019 Quarter. Not in too bad of shape either.

Put it in one of your boxes...and in about another 90 years you'll be knee deep in high cotton...

 

It’s the first W I have found in change in 2 years. I should gold plate and frame it.

 

Good karma sez put it in the poor box in church....who knows in 2 more years karma may smile and you'll find 2 more...

 

Is finding a W a thing? I don't collect modern coins so I don't know.

 

Only 2 million were minted for each type quarter. You should be checking your change in order to find one.

 

You can still find them in coin rolls too!! Nice one CN!

 

Thanks. I don’t have time to search rolls. I have $10.00 face, 20 rolls of cents to go through. I’ve had them a year and haven’t touched them. Retirement is keeping me busy.

 

After all the coins you have pulled out of your boxes I should be surprised about this.

Last one I found in my change was during my trip to Wendover Utah during this past 4th Of July weekend (2022). Got it at the self serve carwash quarter machine. Little rough around the edges but I still kept it.
