I agree with an AU grade. Probably AU-55; not 58. I just bought an NGC AU-58 1972 for my set and it definitely has more wear on it than I'd expect for that grade; AU-55 seems better.
Now I have a plan we will need a sign up sheet, and enough beer to cover the teams needs...and enough case cutters to cover the number of workers...Next we meet at his home and begin to find out what else he has stashed away in all those boxes! Who knows perhasp we will solve the Jimmy Hoffa case! No doupt that in his pocket will be a rare coin...or some other historical item.... and of course we be filmed so the discovery channel would at least have enough material to run a show for 5 seasons. "Lost Treasures of the Collecting Nut" and whom ever finds the crate with the gold box with two angels on top..."Do Not Open" unless you want a spot on the discovery channel plastic surgery show! Today episode" how to fix a melted face."
Lol Don’t make me get out my Aborigines spear. 7 1/2 foot long and light as it can be. Came directly from Australia. And this is the best photo I can get.
Now why aren't I surprised that you have an Aborigines spear? Im sure you have a left handed fire place poker... Or a full set of dip- stick berrings. You know the berrings that prevent the dip stick from shoot through the ever lasting bar! I'm begining to think...that if it was made, manufactured, molded, minted,printed...or came from a ducks butt you have one or some! The Discovery Channel would love access to your hoard.... they be in knee deep cotton for decades with episodes to air.
Under my CT name there is a two word saying. It fits my life very well. Don’t you think? Yes I have a lot of stuff but it all caught my interest at the time. And for what I say, I have the proof.
Golly I wish we had better-quality pictures. Something appears to be messed up in your A in STATES and I can't imagine that's just a tiny hit just laying over the top of that one letter. Here's what I'm seeing...
There is no displaced metal and it’s only on the top of the A. It either took a hit heavy enough to cause that but light enough it didn’t touch anything else or it’s the smallest strike through I’ve ever seen.
