Great stuff Ed. Is there any way to determine if that chain is from the same period as the quarter?

 

That's incredible! I do metal detecting too, but so far the best I've found is a 1936 Mercury dime. I still savor that moment when I popped the dirt off and saw what it was!!

I've found a couple wheat pennies too but nothing else notable. The challenge is finding a good spot!
