Maybe I need to add some different style photos there is no way that this coin would grade below a 65. It has 66 luster.
I am not sure that these are better or just a different look at the luster and surfaces. Although there is more steps than what shows in the photos the 2nd and 3rd steps definitely are weak and merged.
Where? If you mean the reverse above Monticello that’s not a strike through. It’s from poorly polished die.
While I can't confidently give a grade as I am not as well-versed with that, I just wanted to say this is beautiful war nickel, such a good specimen!
