Just wanted to ask some of the guys who have been collecting a while a question. Would you by Morgans off the bay that have been graded, are would you buy the best looking raw coins u see and try to have them graded and make a profit off of it? Thanks for all your answers, just trying to make the right judgement.

I would seem to me that it would be hard to turn a quick profit with a graded Morgan from eBay. Maybe if it was very rare. Just my opinion.

    Graded are raw Morgans

I understand that, i just know i have bought 4 that the seller was claiming it was uncirculated, so far i don't think any of them would grade ms-65, i am looking at future down the road profit with the slabbed coins, i should have stated this, however i am also concerned that even though they are listed as PCGS MS-65, i fear that the seller maybe putting a coin in that slab that may in fact not be the coin that was graded by said company. The raw ones all i can do is take my magnifying glass and look at thm the best i can, and being new to this that doesn't mean there still ain't problems with that raw coin i may not see, cause on most of these coins u can't see the rim of it, i understand that degrades a coin tremendously if the rim is jacked up.

You are always taking a chance when you buy from eBay. There are many on-line coin dealers who are very honest and have much better prices than you will find on eBay. I have bought very few coins without looking it them first.
