    Good after noon everyone,

What I have is this Leopold the Hogmouth Taler 1691. The coin weighs at 29.58 grams. The coin sounds silver, and fells like silver but these it´s definetly different. The texture is grainy like.

If someone has thougts on this one I would appriciate the help

    Best regards
    Siggi

It looks like it was cast instead of struck.
The grainy look could be from the sand used in the cast.

It does look like a cast and no that does not mean it is old

It seems like someone has then tryed to hide the grainy look and polised it in some spots. Just never seen one of these before.

I have no doubt at all that it is a cast fake.
