Coinstar & Quarternotes - Double Jackpot!

    Good evening everyone,
    Let me start by saying that I had a rough day! Work issues, high blood pressure brought on by my boss and a bad situation at the pharmacy when tried to get my refills :rage:

    After work I had to return to the pharmacy and the problem I had was finally resolved..

    As I was walking home I had the opportunity to pass by a cashier with a Coinstar machine. I took a quick peek into the reject bin and saw a bunch of coins in it!

    There were 6 foreign coins
    A bunch of clad and cents (wich was strange)
    And 1 lovely Winged Liberty Head Dime

    Then when I reached my mom's place which I stay at every weekend I received another envelope from Quarternotes Ltd. The Quarter Master surprised me today with a generous gift!

    I had a double blessing which I really needed :shame:

    Ed, nice find in the CS. NYC always has so much more 'prize winnings' in those machines. Either CS or your parking meter attendants.

    The QM's generosity continues to amaze me. That was a very welcome surprise I'm sure.

    That is an amazing amount of coins at a Coinstar!! Glad your day turned around!

    I've never even found a cent in a Coinstar machine! (though I seldom encounter them).

    QuarterMaster, whomever you may be, thank you for turning his day around! And I like your address - very creative! ;)
