I have to admit I did not remember you being this "sweet" on commenorative coins. Everyone you have shown since I returned to CT have truly been great looking. Do you own any of I think they are called Western Journey? I think they are my all time favorite. Should I presume you are feeling okay now?

 

Wouldn't be a chore for me if I could take images like that. Fantastic.

Cool - are all the current presidential medal retreads or just certain issues, like President Fillmore?

 

From what I have seen, they are retreads. They take the old Indian Peace Medal or presidential designs and reproduce them in silver. I once had a goal of collecting all of the 19th century presidential mint medals, but the market caught up with me. The mintages were low, and the auction prices have been going up.

The 19th medal mintages were really low, like 100 to 200 pieces.
