A 1851 $1.00 Gold Coin slabbed by PCI as an EF-45. This was the third year of minting the $1.00 Liberty Head Gold coin. There were 3,317,671 originally minted. This is a Type 1 of this coin, small head with a closed wreath. Just looking at the obverse it looks like a fake but it’s the real thing.
Thanks Sarge. It’s been packed away for 24 years. Glad I have her. Tomorrow I’ll find more in that box.
Yea, Awesome show of coins @Collecting Nut . Keep opening those boxes... and of you don't want anything, just send it my way.. LOL.
All those years with more money than time, and all those coins. Aren't you glad now that you were buying coins, and not, oh, say, designer clothes, or movies on videocassette, or video games?
This looks great as usual. To help your chronic fatigue from dealing with all these boxes, do you any help?
Thanks but I’ve had several offers and it gives me something to do in my retirement. If I get tired I just take a nap. It’ll still be there when I wake up and it’s been there for years.
