    Vertigo Did someone say bust?

@okbustchaser i need your help with this one. It is graded ag3. And if present the xxx is either worn or right where one of the mounts is sitting. Is this a 102? It is the reverse with the row of clash marks. Leaving only a few choices. Doesn't seem to have the die cracks for the 102a. And I don't want to crack it to examine it better. Also, could that xxx be worn off at ag3?

OK, @chlorinated. I give up. What is this? Other than King George III of England and silver, I can't figure out which part of the British Empire this is from or the denomination. The inscrutability of the reverse inscription makes me think Wales or Ireland. Help us U.S. collectors understand, please?

The reverse represents all four. I don't immediately recall the specific order of the other three but the image just above the date represents Ireland. The other three being Wales, Scotland, and England.

From the pics I would say 102. I don't see any of the cracks that would make it 102A. Should be XXX edge.

So, my understanding is that the xxx should be between FIFTY and DOLLAR. Here is a picture of that area. Is that, that little bit of marking right near the mount? Screenshot_20220819-174032_Gallery.jpg

    Hi,

It is a 1787 Great Britain 6d or sixpence of King George III.

The top shield shows three lions to the left, representing England, and one lion to the right representing Scotland. The right shield shows three Fleur-de-lis, representing France, the lower shield shows a harp, representing Ireland, and the left shield shows the Hanoverian arms.

I bought a 39 DDR about a month or 2 ago. I'm happy with it and the price wasn't to bad. 1939 5c DDR 1-horz.jpg
