Lol listen bro, you dont have to be so jealous, and I dont have to prove anything to you. And Iwill tell you why. When youve been roll searching for 8 years, and your dad is a lobbyist, mom is a banker and everyone else in your family is eitheir a politician or banker, and I mean your extended family up to my third cousins. You develop connections, and you get stuff the normal public doesnt usually get. So for me $1900 is a drop in the bucket. Why do I need $1900 for something I got for $250, when I own two different stores, own stocks and controlling interests in several other business ventures? Not to mention how much junk silver I have that I am going to pass onto my kids. Plus all these unc bags and rolls of coins I have. I mean UNC bags of morgans. UNC rolls of wheaties, nickels, mercury dimes, washington quarters etc. So for me there isnt much point to go onto ebay and try to sell them and deal with the hassle when I can sell them to another dealer. And for your info the price has gone up. When I first got them I was offered $2500 per box, and that has gone up to $4,000 per box. Plus I can time it that I sell mine before the feds release the rest, if they ever do so.

Do you mean the silver? or the copper clad? Copper clads eitheir get returned to the banks or are spent. The silver would depend on each person. Most of the local roll searchers here, returnt he 40's into circulation. I am guessing since people pay such low prices for them. And some places aroudn here wotn take them. However I stack away all of my silver halves like I have been doing for the past 8 years.

I would hazard to agree and go with RPM7. Nice example though, I have rarely seen these RPM7 and nowhere near in that nice of condition.

Regardless I was extremely happy with my last box of silver.
    Got 1 90 (Dateless walker)
    2 40%'s (67,68)
10 boxes of pennies revealed 8 1972 DDO's. Sold them off to my local coin shop for $10 each.
Also got a 1960 large date over small date which I osld to the same shop for $25. Overall very nice pulls.
Regarding wheaties I pulled 113. Most came form one box which had 27. All 40's and 50's with 1 39.

    best of luck searching everyone.

    the one that got away

Was in the bank on Saturday and returned about $600+ dollars in halves, and was asking my teller for customer wrapped rolls. She said that she did not have any, but the teller next to her received a whole bunch of old coins last week. Let's just say I was pretty excited all weekend. I called this morning and the teller said she still had a bunch of old dollars. All the teller had left was $78 in Ike Dollars, no "s" mints. Besides a type 2 1972, are any worth keeping? While I was buying the dollars, she said that she shipped out all of the other coins on Friday and that they were "really old". Turns out I missed out on a couple thousand dollars worth of coins:headbang:. Well she now has my number and will call me when anything else comes in. Where do they send the coins anyway? Maybe it is time to order some boxes of all denominations from the bank?

LOL, listen "bro," I'm not jealous in the least. You are either full of it, or as you described, laden with so many coins and connections that you are sitting on a fortune of coins and assets.

Whatever. My money is on the former.

Another great day roll searching today
    Hlaves:
    First box:
    6 90%s (1 frank, 4 walkers, 1 Colombian exposition)
    Second box:
    1 90% (Frank)
    8 40%'s
    Third box
    6 90%s (3 kenndys, 3 franks)
    19 40%s

Have a foruth box, only two rolls in, but I already found a marked coin....

On pennies I searched $10 worth
Got 2 wheaties. one of which is a 1955 with machine doubling.
Have more boxies of pennies Ill pick up tmro, hopefully some more 72 DDO's

Searched a customer roll of Eisenhowers, I was dissapointed to find only 19 eisenhowers, but there was also a 1921 morgan! so it made up for that shortage

Please. People with connections like that do not sit in shops scavenging a few dollars off meth-addicts and old ladies, and do not go through boxes and bags of pennies to find a few wheaties, so give it a little rest, willya? Thanks.

For once, but the last box had 0. Too many marked coins.
A marked coin is ususally a roll searcher who marks coins hes searched with a permannet marker. this way they know if theyre getting back their rolls theyve searched. Supposedly saves time but defeats purpose of roll searching, since the more coins you search the more silver or goodies yoru likely to find.

I am pretty sure 5 digits profit is not a couple dollars. so cut off.
Congrats on ending your dry streak

Searched 3 boxes of halves today:

    28-40%
    2-90% (53 franklin & 64 kennedy)
    1-2003
    2-2005

All the 40% ones were in the first box, other 5 in second box. NOTHING in 3rd box.

Also got lucky and got 3 boxes of brand new 2010 union shield pennies. Anyone interested?

    Quarters

Not been having much luck with boxes of halves lately. 3 more shut outs this week so I decided to try my first box of quarters. Actually found 3 silver quarters. That is a lot more than my half boxes so I may try a few more. Is 3 normal for quarters?
