I had recieved change from a store and noticed my nickle
had a very rough surface. When I had looked closer it
was a 2000 P nickle that has a slight image of a dime on the head
and the back has the nickle stamp and a reversed dime stamp.
I am not sure if this coin is of any value.

Welcome to the forum Awhchecker1268. We need pictures to tell for sure, but it sounds like a "Sandwich" coin. A nickel is placed between two dimes and mashed together. If this is the case, then it is post-mint damage and is not worth a premium. It could however be a double denomination error which would carry a premium. Is the dime stamp incused or raised on the coin?

The front side is jagged for the dime stamp
and the back side isn't raised, it is O.K.
for the nickle and reversed image stamp for
the dime. I'm trying to post a picture.

    Hi,
This looks to me like a dime was at one time crazy glued to a nickel, then the dime was removed. I think this is a residue of adhesive on the nickel that left the impression of the dime.

I agree with "foundinrolls", it's a "glue job".

It could be a Multible Strike error. A coin that has additional image from being struck again off center. The more multiple strikes the more value. B12

    Hi,
It's not, It's really glue. Note the uneven areas around where the dime was attached. That was the overflow of glue.
    Have Fun,
