I searched for a similar mint mark and couldn't find one. Could this be a new Variety?

Uh, no. It's a zinc plating bubble. These aren't the finest examples of coinage.

    Where do you see doubling?

That's a blister on the mint mark as stated.
    Not a new variety.

And the correct numismatic terminology is Doubled Die.. Not double die.

The doubling on the date is also a plating issue.
This was a common problem on the early zinc cents.

That would be a nice coin to watch over a period of time, to see its complete destruction. Just place it somewhere you can observe it regularly and watch the zinc rot eat the coin. Take photos once a month and then post them for us to see.

I know it's probably wishful thinking but I see letters in all this mess. Anybody else?

Be careful how you're handling it, you don't want to get fingerprints on it.

    I see letters, too

Liberty, In God We Trust, a D mintmarkOne Cent, United States of America, and E Pluribus Unum

And if you look really close you can probably see PMD all over the place.

Yes and Lincoln is smoking too. That is the worse road rash I think I’ve ever seen.

No doubling as that is a plating blister.
