I have a general question and am relatively new to the site. I wasn't sure where to post this question but here it goes... I notice something called "credits" right under my name on the site, mood, etc. What are the credits for? Any information will be appreciated! I'm not sure if they are important or not but I notice the number changes as I post. What's going on there? Thanks ppl...:goofer: ~Keith~
Well I wasn't going to read this one but it did have 4 question marks They add up when you post. Then you can post adds at the top of the page when you have enough like LostDuchman or our Shriners add. The Shriners add was a bunch of people donating their credits to run it for quite awhile. If more info is needed do a search as there are many posts about this.
Hi. You can click on Check, and that at the bottom left, you will see a link for 'Donations and Drawings'. Once there, you can enter someone's username, and also enter the amount of credits you wish to donate to said person.
The Duke will take them all I'm probably gonna just donate them to the charity next year but it would be nice to have them until then lol
What do you mean by that? We will eventually be able to use the credit to purchase auction listings instead of paying fees on eBay.
Answers to the Credits question(s) can be found in several threads regarding CREDITS in the Support and Feedback section.
You can use them to buy and post banner ads, like the ones you see on CT from Lost Dutchman, The Dansco Album Store or the CoinTalk Shriner's Fundraiser ads. Why not advertise that you are an MPC dealer? Point people to your contact info, auctions or web site where you sell your notes?
Yep Krispy is right. Even I didn't know the extent of your mpc sales inventory...many might like to visit and purchase...
Thanks to everyone who replied. Like I said I'm new to the site and didn't know where to look for my answers and was very reluctant to even ask. I was happy to see that at least a few gave me the benefit of the doubt...and now I have an idea of where to look for further answers regarding credits. Thanks! ~Keith~
