1945 p war nickel

    Nice example but with the deep gauges on the left side of Monticello, and the other deep gauge on the rim through the S of Pluribus, I am not sure it would straight grade. Others here with more experience of grading these will chip in soon. The image does not show full steps.

    Not seeing full steps, but MS 64 or 65.

    With the scrape on Jeffs jaw line, some minor bag marks thru out the fields and Monticello. I would say MS62/63 range.
    And no to the full steps.

    Compare yours to mine for full steps and a grade. It’s just a year older but it will give you an idea of grade and you should see that yours is not close to full steps. In my opinion it’s not worth grading as you’ll never recover the cost to do so.

    You will probably get an MS-64. They don't agonize over grading these because the value is not there. It doesn't have full steps, so to most nickel collectors, it's not special.
