    Hi alice,

Yeah I love and hate when that happens. I usually take a few rolls out and keep them then return the rest to the bank for new rolls.

    Regards,
    Stan

Well, lincolnhoardr, you beat my worst streak of 9 shutouts in a row. Erin had 13 I think.....keep going at it, your luck will soon change!!!

I had a great coin day today. I visited 4 banks:
    $3 of loose halves: 2 40%ers
    2 customer rolled half dollar rolls: 18 40%ers :)
    1 box: 4 40%ers, 1 1964 and 1 1944 Walker :D :) :D

Got another box I'll go through tommorrow morning.

    :D

A box of halves...how much do they cost? You guys are tempting me to try my luck!

Each box of halves is 500.00. If you got the extra cash try it. Even if you strikeout you still have 500.00. Its a win win.

Gypsy Tears, I guess I could play with $500 as long as I put the majority back in my account. Hmmm...

Visiting Grand kids in Illionois stopped at smaller town bank on the trip. Teller had loose halves about $200.00 worth ... said I'd take 100.00 worth ..she started counting and could spot the silver edges and had her count out all of it ended up with 33 - 40%ers .... even a blind squirrel finds an acorn once in a while .... keep looking

Pulled this one from some eBay rolls .. I can't make out the RPM and it doesn't come up in Coppercoins. I know it's a RPM but can't tell if it is a S/S or an S/D.

    Hello everyone,

Went through a box and a half of Jefferson Nickels this past week. I did find some really nice keepers, most will have to be upgraded as I am building my Jefferson collection all over again.

Find a local bank that has a coin machine. Some banks require you to have an account to use machine others do not. Not all banks have machines though.

Since I last reported on Friday with a string of great silver half finds, but luck came back to earth.

    3 boxes -- 3 silver shutouts.

I did find two keepers in the 3 boxes:
    one 1987
    one 1974-D Doubled Die Obverse
