This appeared in our local flyer in newsprint today. Apparently this is our 48th Annual show and not 47th Annual A representative from ANACS will be there too. I will be checking out any specials on the ANACS website. This month ( July ) it was 12 Buffalo Nickels for about $8.00 each. Wish that was the case, I almost went and dug out a dozen to get ready as submissions for the representative to take along. I've taken advantage of specials before on a couple occasions at our show and also saved on outgoing shipping costs too. Now I'll have to see what the special is for August and work fast.
It was a great show! I submitted 15 coins to ANACS. One was for somebody else. There wasn't a single ancient coin in the house that I could see. The dealers I asked didn't have any under the tables either. Aside from that it was a huge success for the club. The parking lot was packed all day. Air conditioning was very nice. It was very hot outside. I am sure we will have a nice conclusive report next club meeting. I did not buy a single coin. I never did that before? Feels strange but I was there to work for the club and to submit my coins for grading and take advantage of a special and paid only for return shipping.
