I'm working on a full 1963, 1963-A and 1963-B collection of all types from each of the Federal Reserves from each of these series. That means a $1 FRN of each Block from all Federal Reserves: -- Regular Notes -- Star Notes -- Mules -- Star/Mules Today I got a: -- B/* Regular note -- F/* Mule -- H/* Mule Three more holes filled. (No images. They all look like 1963 FRNs.) (No reason to take up CoinTalk site space.)
My best guess is, "it won't be soon -- if ever". A lot of what I need/want is not even documented. In other words, I don't even know what exists on my "want/need list".
Definitely. But I don't know how limited the resources are. The main one that I have for 1963 series FRNs is Collector's Guide to Modern Federal Reserve Notes/Series 1963-2009 by Robert Azpiazu, 2011. The only other is The Collector's Guide to $1 FRN's/Series 1963-2003A also by Robert Azpiazu, 2005. I found out sometime after the release of the 2011 guide that there wouldn't be any updated ones published. Robert Azpiazu depended on Whitman Publishing to front the money for its publication. Apparently Whitman Publishing was not interested. I guess they didn't find the guide profitable enough to release new versions. Last I checked the 2011 guide was now impossible to get. Right now I depend on piecing together the information in the 2011 guide to make a wantlist. Don't know how accurate the results are. I'll have to depend on website searches and the CoinTalk population for additional help.
