there was a coin shop in the unincorporated area of franksville. i didnt go there yet because i simply didnt know it existed. when i did i found something alot better then i was looking for. half a dozen st. gaudens. after checking them all out since he was asking 1175 each i eventually narrowed it down to 2 that stood out. since i didnt have 2350 i traded him my gold/platinum+80.

upper AU low MS. i spent some time looking at others on websites and it seems like reverse wear is easier to detect. some had some obvious wear and one had some bad hits. the other 4 were a 1910 d - 1922 - 1924 - 1926. i guess he had to put one aside to sell someone else but that was after i had already picked 3 to examine more. i hate to go into my life savings to get the 3rd i looked at but damn its tempting on his prices.
