Hi again, I know this is a worn coin, but whatever, I would like to show it to you all and ask if it really could be a variety. Any comments will be welcomed and appreciated. Thanks in advance. The Right Wing is doubled (IMHO)
Looks like 002-stage A nice find. http://varietyvista.com/09b WQ Vol 2/DDR Detail Pages/1965PDDR002.htm
Follow @Mountain Man ’s advice. It’s hard to see like it is. It could be a form of a worn die, like MD or DDD.
Thank you @Mountain Man. I really thought about doing that, but I was apprehensive about ending up ruining the coin. So I took the photos before to clean it up afterwards.
I found another coin - 1997 P Quarter wich appears to be a variety too, but I'll open a new thread for that coin.
ask a normal question ... get silly answers .... or maybe as a silly question and get normal answers from CT.
Wow you're good at this. See if you got another one in your pocket you can look at under that microscope, they say luck comes in 3s.
So, I think I found another 1965 Quarter that maybe can be a Variety too. I'll post it at night when I'll come back to home from work. But found some weird coins among my Jeffersons and Cents, and I would like to show them for understand what kind of error could be those. But, for those coins I think I'll need to open a new thread.
Well, here are the photos of the other 1965 Quarter I found and that can be a possible variety. Post your comments I will be happy to appreciate all them.
