Found a replacement for the 1849 half dime the USPS "LOST"

Oddly enough from the same seller (Yes, I might be an idiot but it really was the USPS at fault) Not the AU details of the other but I think she'll get xf 40-45 when I send my next package to NGC (should be this month with my w/arrow half/quarter/halfdime) And the reverse toning is fantastic

Did you ever resolve the lost coin issue?

 

More or less... USPS paid out the insurance to the seller on the 30day missing mark and I got a refund... Still hoping the other package will turn up, but when USPS admits to losing something it usualy stays lost lol...

 

She’s one sweet looking lady! I like this one better.

 

I sold a walker on Ebay and the post office lost it. I didn't have insurance so I was out the money and the coin. I refunded the seller but I was out.

I really like the reverse toning on that one! I have a particular fondness for seated liberty half dimes.
