I picked this one up while I was in Boulder Co for a job last week. I couldn't pass up the toning. Also the coin looks like it could go higher than 65. Any opinions would be greatly appreciated. I took two different style photo's. Which are the best for viewing?
The top two show off the great toning best. I love the blue and purple highlights on the obverse, amidst the gold. I would say it is a certain 66, with a shot at 67. Obverse is 67. A few marks on the reverse might limit it at 66.
Yeah, this one jumped out of the case. I was a little worried about the price, cause it was the only one without a price written on the flip. I actually got it for a good price.
I could see it going at least 65. It looks like an attractive nickel! By the way @Pickin and Grinin the tag didn't work. I believe only three at a time work (not sure if the first three still get the notification or if none do when there are more than three).
I have wondered about that. Thonk that the idea is that hopefully you attract the folks that members follow when you post. 3 is a magic number. Thanks for the info.
I got both summons. Very attractive nickel! I would have had to bring it home if I saw it as well. I'm with @Morgandude11 in calling it an easy 66.
It's every bit a technical gem. I think it could easily 66 for the market given that toning. Nice pickup.
