Please tell us what went through your mind when you posted that ONE lousy photo? Helping collectors from only their photos is hard enough when they post Full Image, in focus, complete obverse and reverse photos, but few can help you from what you posted.
I'm with @ldhair. Those look like the soft, mushy letters we often see on cheap fakes. Have you weighed, measured, and magnet-tested it?
I'm fixated on serifs today. Zooming in on his photo shows them splitting, showing a doubled die. Whether it's a counterfeit or not I have absolutely no idea or opinion... beyond my ken.
I'm on the cast counterfeit boat. The doubling probably came from the coin getting set into the casting sand twice or slightly bumped.
This type coin was highly counterfeited. You need to have it vetoed by an expert who can put their hands on it. To me, it doesn’t real.
Yes, it does appear to have some doubling. However, the coin's not real in my opinion. Luster isn't right. Design isn't right (eagle is really flat). Denticles don't look right.
