I’ve been helping my son work his way through his US type set for the last five or six years. It’s been lots of fun and has served as the real cornerstone of his collection. He started collecting when he was 4 or 5 and his interest has ebbed and flowed, but the type set is a nice place to come back to from time to time. I’ve been fortunate enough to come into some good stuff lately to help him along. The latest adds are the seated dollar and the 1838 bust half. He’s upgraded some pieces as well. I hope you enjoy taking a look at the set. Only a couple more to go (then there’s that gold page ). Luckily, he has plenty of time to work on that one.
