What is this off the "3"?

    Full size instead of thimbnails helps. Looks a lot like a counter clash to me.
    Mayybe @Oldhoopster has an Idea.

    Clash of the bottom half of E in AMERICA possibly? Is it raised or incuse?

    I’m still seeing a possible plating blister. It is on a copper plated zinc coin.

    I'm not understanding the thing about thumbnails. When you click on it, it enlarges it to full size. Is that not big enough? If so, I will post full size instead.

    Your last posted photos (post #8) is much better.
    That is a very odd mark next to the 3. Is it incused or raised? Looks raised and I have no idea how it came to be there, but I would still consider it damage, PMD. IMHO.

    It could be a clash but I still think it’s a plating blister that resembles part of the letter E. If it was a clash I would think a little more of that area would show. Like more of the E, or other pss as eye of other letters.
