    Hi all,

Is there any way to post a photo without it being on the internet? I can't seem to get this to work.

considering that it seems that half of all the remaining 5$indians are 1909D and all of the O-mint ones have been bringing strong money for a 100 years. I would go out on a limb and say it's a D without seeing it. But you never know

sure, the odds are in favor of it being a D mint coin, but it's hard to tell the difference between marks for many folks, especially once these coins get circulated because the mintmark being raised above the surface of an incuse coin gets worn off relatively quickly, especially with it being so close to the edge w/o a raised rim.

i've even seen 1909-O $5 in major third party grading company holders that say 1909-D on the holder!!!! So even the experts can make a mistake on this issue!!!! Let's see some detailed pics :smile
