    Hello everyone,

I have one of the U.S. Mint Prestige Sets, and have had it for a few years. i am wonder where one might go to get more? I have not had much luck locating some where to get them.

    Any ideas?

    Regards,
    Stan

eBay would be a good place to start. :thumb:

Modern coin mart usually has some of them in stock and their prices usually run slightly below red book. I have bought a few mint and proof sets off them and several slabs and I have had no issues.

I second MCM, they ship fast, have regular stock, reliable quality and competitive market prices.

I think this link shows the problem with buying Prestige sets. The prices are all over the map.

Compare the prices in the link above with those from Modern Coin Mint (as per Krispy - www.moderncoinmart.com).

Basically, no matter where you go, you're buying proof coins from pixelated pictures. Good luck on that one.

On the upside, they are all encased in those hard plastic containers.

I own the 1987 set. I think they are ultra-cool. The packaging is great. But they take up space and I have a phobia about eventually having a room full of coin collectiong stuff.

Be very careful of prices. This is the CLASSIC case of being patient and waiting and looking. They don't show up that much, but sometimes they sell for a song.

    Thank you everyone,

I appreciate all the links and advice. I m hoping to be able to complete the set, as i do like them a lot.

The packaging alone is extremely nice, and of course the coins are too:smile

    Regards,
    Stan

Golden Eagle Coin is my local coin store. The folks there are first rate. Richard Stelfox really knows his coins! :thumb:
