Managed to get all the older (1928-1957) graded notes nicely tucked away.
And smart enough to leave gaps for the notes I don't have yet.
I still have to get the non-graded ones done but that's pretty much just shuffling them around in their new permanent home.

The 1963/1963A/1963B series FRNs are done.
All in their individual sleeves, inventoried and stored.

All the 1969 series FRNs are still waiting to be done.
They are in individual sleeves but waiting inventorying and storing.

I haven't decided about the oddball items yet.
Some 1974 and 1980-something series notes that I am no longer interested in.

So has it been as bad as you thought. Myself and many others need encouragement to do this type of stuff.

Maybe not, but you've got two pensions coming in. Most people don't have even one ;)

I use a high-capacity USB to store our collectables individually. I also set our computer to backup often.

I don’t have time for that. Give them to the grandkids and let them worry about them. They have all the holder stuff

Strangely enough this is a big part of why i buy mostly slabbed coins now.. full record keeping through pcgs/ngc :D Though to be honest, yeah I gotta dive in and do a reorganization of all my slab boxes... I started that a few months back, but somehow got distracted 1/2 way through and haven't gotten back to the rest (1/2 my butt, 1 50 slab case is perfect... the other 2 50s the 30 and the 20 are organized only by the fact they are NOT part of the 1st 50 coins in my type set lol)

Taking photographic inventory of my collection was this year's New Year's resolution. I am currently working on my cents, but god help me when I get to the dimes....so many dimes! I don't know who decided to collect such small coins, but I really need to have a talk with that guy. I honestly hate the photography aspect, but it does help, especially when participating on a forum.

I’m starting to think I’m not OCD enough to be here. I have no idea exactly what I have and they’re in binders and boxes in no particular order.
