Specificaly about the 1854 arrows H10 V-8 shattered die Rev. Long story short, If I do all the research include the descriptions and photos to support that it is a V-8, they will consider certifying it as such... So basicly if I'm willing to do all the work to prove it to them, they "may" certify it...
reinforced via email.... The conversation was more "positive" of their doing so :D
Thank you for your email. The Variety Plus resource lists the varieties we currently recognize. Customer service cannot make a determination regarding the designation of a new or currently unrecognized variety. To have this considered, you will need to submit the coin, choose the Variety Plus add-on service, as well as some additional notes detailing that you would like the coin to be considered for a variety. The variety attribution is not guaranteed in these cases, and the fee will apply regardless of the final determination.

I think mlov43 can offer insight to the process of variety attribution request with NGC.

You pay them, and you do the work. And they will consider it. How nice of them to be that generous.

Wait . . . isn't that what CAC does? LOL The TPG did the work, and then they will consider if it did good work or not?

Why bother with them go with ANACS. Forego the others too. In my opinion!
