Help Identifying a Coin

    I sent a photo of my old Cobb to a fellow named Daniel Sedgewick. He was more than happy to ID the coin for me.... But I'll be darned if I can find that email. I think if you Google Sedgewick Coins you can find his website which is where I think that I got his email from.

    To get an ID, you really need to give the weight of the coin (preferably in grams) and the diameter in mm.
    Without this info nobody can go much further, but this is clearly a silver real, or 2r, 4r or 8r, probably Felipe III,

    The VM•R suggests that it is probably from the OMNIVM REGNORVM series of 1598 to 1603
