Here is a VERY pretty 1899 Morgan. I say MS65 even with the mark by the mint mark on the reverse, but that's just me. I did pull this one from a roll up in Deadwood, SD at a casino in 1992.

Yes, at the cashier's cage at Misss Kitty's. $20 got you 10 of them for as long as they lasted. It was the (5) year anniversery of legalized gambling I think.

Bone I would agree with you....MS65 I think at the best...MS64 at some places....
On the back....is that a diecrack or a nice that is on top of the T-E....?

BTW--This does as you said Bone have a great strike to be a O mint coin....I've looked through rolls and flips of O mint coins and not many have a good strike....so that helped the grade....

Actually, that is a light smudge and a crack at the top and a crack at the bottom too. I was informed on another list that those cracks are considered defects which would keep it from 66.

I'll dig it out today and take a newer picture.

Well the crack might make it a VAM....I don't think they lower the grade but the smuge and the nickes by the O and on the jaw and in front of the face keeps it from going too high...
