    Looks like Abe's got a bit of cauliflower ear going on there, too. It's hard for me to see this as anything other than impact or pressure damage.

    Thanks Jeff, Thanks for your comments. Abe's ear has definitely seen better days for sure. It's obviously been through the wars since it was minted. I think it maybe suffered from a a bit if die deterioration and it has had a hard life ever since. I'll give it a nice retirement anyway. Thanks again!
