Hello again I'm confused with all the hype on the 64 with no mint mark and the l in Liberty being on the rim. I know they changed the style and the l taken off the rim but is this a DDO. Look at in got we trust and Liberty. Also his ear looks a little big like the earlobe fell or did it take a hit and pushed it that far. On the reverse look at the last column on the left are those die chips? No doubling.

If you think you found something, you should check the following sites for an exact match. Plus you'll get experience looking at real hub doubling.

To me, it's just a well worn coin with damage from circulation.

That looks as normal as a 1964 cent can look. A bit worn but quite normal. Add in the wear and tear from circulation and there’s your coin, looking as it does.

I have to agree with the others. There’s no P mint marks on Lincoln cents except 2017. The first post on error coins is about Doubled die read, study and by all means have fun doing so! Do not give up and you will see results. Looking forward to seeing your finds.

Thanks so much. after discovering variety Vista, doubled die, my life seems a little easier with those sites, lol. That's why I'm not out here as much as I used to be. No sense in bothering the experts on something I can look up. Thanks again

Good for you. Constructive criticism can be hard to take sometimes, but when it is offered with sound advice like reading the links provided to you, and you take the time to read and digest the contents, you start to reap the benefits. You would find it hard to comprehend how many people have been given the same advice and links, and 2 or 3 years later are still asking the same questions to which the answers are there with 5 minutes of looking. Good luck in your hunts and if there is anything you still do not have answers for, please post your question/s. Also, post anything you want to share, we all like seeing others finds and acquisitions.

Thank you very much. Sometimes I research too much where my brain hurts and then I start thinking I see things that are trivial to my hunt. All in moderation.
