Guess the grade, and other comments welcome. Auction images. (Full disclosure - I just won it)

Looks as to have been over dipped.. lack luster...From the images I say Au details but I don't see any wear ...but again it looks off....especially the obv.

I want to say something might be wrong (whizzed) but I don't think that is the case and will go with a problem-free MS 64

I probably should have stated that it's TPG graded, in case that matters.

Yep, MS-Details cleaned. Agree it looks over-dipped.

I'm going to say MS64 straight grade guessing these are flat bed scanner images.

I think it’s a nice looking coin but I’ll not guess at the grade as these are not your photos. As you stated, these are auction images and an auction house can easily retouch the photos. I’ll wait for the final reveal.

MS67. That wasn't cleaned. Its luster is muted due to a dip.

They are Heritage images but don't cheat.

The hairlines on the obverse portrait lead me to believe that the coin has been cleaned, and the grade would be UNC Details Cleaned.

If they straight graded the coin, they will most certainly net grade the coin due to the over-dipping, and max grade would be MS62.

MS details cleaned. Tell-tale hairlines on the obverse are pretty obvious.

It has MS 65 detail, but with the dip/cleaning?

I'm not convinced it's cleaned. Out on a limb on that.

From those pix, yes. Then again, they are Heritage pix, which are notoriously crappy.

I'll wait the requisite 48 hours but very interesting comments so far. No one got it right yet but I'm not sure if the TPG did either. Everyone missed something but it's secondary.
