Yes, SLQ= standing Liberty Quarters but I like to make jokes by apparently misinterpreting common meanings. I always had a hard time finding nice Stdg Lib quarters but then decided to bid on cheap ms-65 specimens that kept appearing on Heritage. One day I finally snagged one at a very good price. It's a common 1928 or 29 I think.

Now, what does a fairly priced, $9 large diameter Capped Bust Dime look like?

Regardless it’s a cool old silver coin and a wallet piece candidate.

So I've been working on my Lincoln cents 1909 to 2007 in an intercept shield album...and been wanting to catch up on some of my 1985-1995 ms,& proofs. I saw this nice Capital plastics set 30 some ms and 11 proofs coins. Paid $19.99 +shipping.
I have another use for the Capital plastics board. And started to fill up and switch out better specimens red for the others.
    Then I noticed this>>>>> :) s-l1600-7.jpg C:WINDOWSTempA989 - 20220709_142203.jpg C:WINDOWSTempA987 - 20220709_142038.jpg C:WINDOWSTempA990 - 20220709_142349.jpg C:WINDOWSTempA992 - 20220709_142410.jpg C:WINDOWSTempA993 - 20220709_142427.jpg C:WINDOWSTempA994 - 20220709_142441.jpg

Got to love it.... as the coin gods here lately have been giving and taking away...my seated quarter is still MIA!
And Monday I may be going postal at the post office! What a joke...unbelievable opened a case...they close the case....with no resolve! Or any communication.... first they steal a coin....then loose two! Clowns to the left of me Jokers to the right ..and I'm here stuck in middle with you!

1773 Virginia Half Penny "Period and Seven Strings" Variety - well worn but only $47.26 - the "VIRGI" to the right of the shield and 1773 at the top of the shield and crown are clearly legible - George III is pretty worn (also picked up a bargain 1783 Washington Cent "Draped Bust No Button" Variety for $62 from the same seller, so that doesn't count for the thread, but it's here with it's brother). I love the early American copper! (sellers pics)
