  1. Double Die

Double Die I know just enough to be dangerous

I'm looking for some details on these two tokens. I've spent way too much time trying to find out who mintd these only to find a couple of pictures and no details.

Does anyone know anything about these? Any help would be greatly appreciated IMG_20220711_162521.jpg IMG_20220711_162535.jpg IMG_20220711_162338.jpg IMG_20220711_162350.jpg IMG_20220711_162502.jpg IMG_20220711_162447.jpg IMG_20220711_162406.jpg IMG_20220711_162421.jpg

Those appear to be in TPG holders. Is that correct? Then what does the labels say?

I don’t know about those two specifically. What I do know is that in 1976 this entire nation was having bicentennial fever and a lot of entrepreneurs did all they could to capital on that fever.

Yep, in my late teens during all that. Someone (previous owner) went to the trouble of making a capital holder for 2 each of a bronze, silver, and gold set of these. All I've been able to is find some pics of just the bronze ones. This has been frustrating.

Unusual tokens especially if they're made of gold! I'm not familiar with them but they kinda look like the tokens they would sell at movie theatres years ago to play their pinball machines or other youngster machines. ;) I've only heard of 1976 Bicentennial gold medals as shown in the below link. Hopefully @Double Die you find out more information on yours to educate us.
