I have to agree. The "original" head is incuse, but the letters are raised. I don't think that would be possible.
Most dealers know squat about errors,or varieties....unless they are well known "ie" 55 doubled die, 1937 D 3 leg buffalo, I've had several tell me after I gave them a tip that there coin has more meat on the bone as its a variety...Its a $250. 1st person who hands me that ..l'm satisfied. You want it yours for $225. I be willing to bet the farm that the op's image is fake...for the reasons stated by 99.9% of the membership...here... as most who have been collecting 50 + years. Take and post it on the Coneca forum...and watch the replies.
If you can take it to a major coin show. Sometimes ANACS is at them. Show it to them. PCGS and NGC do the same thing, but they may not tell you if it worth slabbing without paying first. Or you may find a dealer that specializes on error coins.
I always put the largest amount they will accept for the submission. Doesn't charge the cost and it is "highly valuable to you" if it is determined to be real.
This was 100%, without a doubt, struck a second time outside the Mint with fake dies. There are dozens of these. ANACS is aware of these, and your submission will be rejected without a refund.
these were made in the 1960s. the guy who made them and his partner were convicted. I sent you a private message on here also
