I have an 1892 CC Morgan Silver Dollar with the number 13 inscribed on lady liberty's face and other than that it appears to be in VG condition. W/O a photo, can anyone give me a ball park figure on it's value. Don't know how much the inscribed numbers affect it's value?

    Thanks for your help

'bout $12.75 (+/-), given the current price of silver. The #13 (inscribed) adds nothing to the value, in fact , most collectors would consider it damage. The coin is basically worth its' intrinsic value.

    And welcome to the forum.....:)

It's hard to say without seeing pics. I haven't heard about any '92-CC being specially engraved by the mint, so it was most likely done post mint, which would be considered damage.

A certified (non-damaged) 1892-CC in VG sells for around $150. The last damaged (Harshly cleaned) ANACS VG 1892-CC sold on Heritage in January for $115. So a general range would be around $115, but pics would help give a more accurate price range.
