1921 Peace $1 Grade

Violets are blueish

And this coin is AUish.......

 

I try to buy 1921 Peace and Morgans from a reputable coin dealer. They have cost more, but they look pretty good. I could not get the 2021 Peace and all the Morgans, so I bought them off line as well. Some of the Morgans and Peace Dollars are beyond what I am will to pay. I can buy gold for some of their prices.

 

I agree with cleaned but I'm in the low AU range. 50-52.

 

It's a details coin that it looks like someone used Comet on it. Possible AU but don't bother to send it in. Nothing to be gained.

unfortunately thier is a few sellers on Ebay that will take a good XF or AU coin and dip or something very strong and turn the nice coin to junk. They try to sell it at a high price. This brings tears to my eyes.

 

I was going to say mid AU really not seeing much wear and looks to have luster . I was way off if that got a 63 though the photos may be bringing her down some.

 

People do all sorts of nutty things and then post the results on eBay. Doesn't seem to have anything to do with this thread's coin, though.

You weren't that far off. A 63 is just a soft-spot-mistaken-as-wear away from an AU.
