Trying to get familiar with a camera, the editing software and how to post it here! Had a lot of trouble with this Lincoln and the light reflecting off of it.
That's a nice strike. I went back and looked at mine, it has planchet lines across the portrait due to a weaker strike.
Thanks it has some extreme luster as well! Unfortunately maybe some split plating on the S and T of Trust.
The Denver mint made some very nice examples in 94 but it takes a LOT of searching to find them. As I recall there are some PCGS MS-69 examples. A 69 is one of my grail coins - yet could be obtained with diligent searching. Likely the only way I'll ever own a 69! Where did you find it?
I had bought this crappy after market "set" for like a buck or 2 and pulled the 67 Half dollar to put in a SMS that I picked up for 1 dollar that was missing the half and I noticed the cent was very nice.
Thanks! Need to be prepared for the opportunity to get lucky when it comes along! Ha, after rereading that last sentence, it has a much different connotation now than 40 years ago when I was 18!
How about I post a Lincoln with a counter stamp. Any insight as to when, how, or why this was done would be appreciated.
Very nice acquisitions. I am inspired to share what I have. The 36-S has just hints of silvery toning beginning at 10:00 on both sides.
